Hi guys! I'm quite new to forex and i need to ask,for this trendline trading method,when do you buy/sell? Is it when you see a couple of green/red bars,with confirmation by a few indicators?

You add on by following the exact rules of this strategy, the market doesn't move in a straight line to your take-profit target... It moves in waves, whose peaks/troughs create an opportunity to draw another trendline towards the target within the main trend. This is when you follow the rules again, according to the strategy, and treat the smaller trendline as its own. Here's what I do,

1. I make sure my main trade is not in negative
2. The smaller trendline has been touched at least 3 times
3. It's ok for me to move my stoploss for the bigger trade towards catching some profit
4. Even though it's in the direction of the main trend, the add-on trade is ASSESSED IN ITS OWN MERIT, AS A SEPARATE TRADE using the conditions of the smaller trend line.

My week has been going good because I am following the rules... nothing else matters. HOWEVER, I am 261 pips down. It's ur turn to give me some advice...lol... just kidding

This week I have lost 261 pips so far... Don't ask me how, but I shall continue regardless, since this will be a measure of how much draw-down I can have.
I shall try to stick to the rules.... I have a tendency of being wreckless and careless when I have lost so much.
