GBPCHF SETUP I POSTED SOME HOURS BACK...Im short on that one.

the EURUSD setup I posted some hours back...., the downward trendline did not hold, and my sell stop order was not activated thankfully. However, I did manage to catch the breakout of the trendline. I will wait and see how this one also pans out. stop loss moved to break-even. same situation with audusd, SL moved to BE. risk free trades, and its all over to the market to do its job, I suppose.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I've been kind of busy with developing a new strategy. Not to replace this one of Myronn's I use, but I needed another one.

I have this one, and a shorter tern one now which I use while I'm waiting for setups that I realy like on the longer timeframe. Anyway, I've been developing it, testing it and now using it live and it's going well.

Important note you say Simple about paying yourself. It's always a god idea to take some of the profit out. I normally take out at month's end, but if I have a praticularly good week, I'll take about half of the gains out. Some get's spent, some goes towards the bills at the end of the month. If that happens I do't need to take out as much at month end.

It is a good feeling to get a reward from it - when you're eating that pizza/at a restaurant etc, it's great to know that your gains on forex has paid for it. Yes I'm still dreaming of millions, but I'm realistic - it's just going to take a while! I look forward to the day when I can take out enough to buy a new car!

Hello Il Brigante, hows it going?

Hey guys, just to show you something that I hope will MOTIVATE you all to be patient and do the RIGHT THING SINGLE EVERYTIME.

Has anybody trading live here every learn't to pay yourself after trading and making a profit? Or do you just imagine the $millions$ that you could make and then bust your trading account in just a couple of months because your expectations are UNREALISTIC? Lets say, you have a $5,000 trading account and in a month, you made $3,000 in profits. Why not pay yourself $1500 and leave the other half for trading with the original capital? It does not matter if you need that money or not, the important issue is "you are in it to make money, not lose money" so how can you make money when it is still a "number" in your trading account? Got it? If it is still there, you can lose it for good.

The only time you make money (which I believe) is to get some of that "positive number" out of your trading account into your bank account and it becomes real usable cash in your bank account so you can buy your wife or girlfriend a lingerie or something...

what do you say to this setup? I risk 95 Pips. Do you think there would have been a entry way with less Pips risking?

I'm not sure if it was right taking this trade. Because I have only a R:R of 2:1. But if I look in the daily timeframe, I can see a possibility
that the trade goes until the yellow trendline?

Was it right or wrong???
