Hi Moneymogul,

I like the seup on USD/JPY.
Also take a look at AUD/JPY, if price test the TL , it can have a nice R:R Ration to the down side.

Welcome back Edward. I hope you had a swell time in Switzerland. I have been eagerly awaiting your return as I have suggestions to make to you, Chinto and d rest on this thread to transform it into a dynamite. There are things one must definitly look out for in order not to hit SL.D first thing is to look out 4 a harami. A harami as d reversal candle on d trendline will most times look 4 a new s/r depending on how she is carring its baby. So one should be hesitant while eentering a trade with d harami as d reversal candles. In order to get a new S/R d SL is often hit.2ndly d default PSAR must be observed. If d PSAR is very far away at d point of entry (+5 pips to H or L of candldle dat hits trendline) dont enter. I think dat is what happened to d EJ trade yesterday which breached d trenline inspite of hitting d trigger.Ithink one should add d default PSARto chart. Infact d use of d PSAR crossover as d trigger guarantees more successful trades when a candle hits d trend line. Observe d charts and U will notice it.
Now to my suggestion. I kwow how deep Edwards ,Chinto and d rest are and I feel dat if we work on what I am about to reveal, we are going to have flawless trades. This cmbined with tredline trading should be a knockout.I want us to visit a thread in Forex Factory known as TRADING WITH DEADLY ACCURACY METHOD by WMD and U will see a totally new approachto S/R.It seems dat why some of our trades fail is when they are obstructed by d S/R level inspite of d signal from d trendline.
I have not made out anything conrete 4rom this yet but I hope dat our concerted effort will yield positive results.
Regards,
Sorento.

I think d 4hr trendline as posted by Chinto has been breached. But I think d pair has hit a n untested S/R in d 1hr TF and reacted, signalling a short position according to WMDs method. Lets watch out and see how it plays out.I dont understand these things yet but I believe dat we can develop a deadly combination dat can generate handsome returns.

Evening all!

AUDUSD looks interesting.

I have entered a short [based on my Ichimoku analysis], but the trendline analysis is also interesting.

We had a break of the upsloping trendline by that HUGE daily candle [news?] and price has come back up to retest the trendline.

There is a confluence with the support line I have drawn in, and also a potential head & shoulder formation.

My only reservation is that the large candle may have skewed things.

Anyway, let's see where price heads from here!!

And USDJPY is looking promising.

A distinct slowdown as it approaches the TL - good sign of a possible reversal. Heavy volume on the spike candle which closed well off its high. Also a confluence with the 50% fib retrace [from my daily chart], and it was rejected by the daily R2 level.

I have an order to go short set at 87.72, so will see what happens during the night - hopefully it will keep on creeping up to the trendline, my order won't be filled and I can get in at a better price.

Feel free to give your comments guys!

That's it for me for today.

Catch you later.

Hi All,
My mistake.D trendline of d UJ has not been breeched on d 4hr TF.Sorry about d misinformation.D situation is father a confluence of d trend line and an untested SR level . Dis is d kind of entry dat looks more solid. De PSAR is also not far away. My entry will be at d PSAR crossover 4 short. However I am wary of d US non farm payroll which comes up today by 1.30 GMT. Its anticipation and effect may derail a lot of calculations. As usual many hours b4 d annoucement d mkt goes into stagnation as many traders vaccate trading waiting 4 d news to give d next direction of d market.

Sorento.
