We do not trust the back tested results. It gives a very incorrect picture of the capabilities of the EA, and it deceives us to lose focus on a good performing strategy. We have purchased many systems in the past, that gave excellent back testing results, however wiped out our account in a month. Systems that did not have a good back performance curve, had given us great results. So apart from testing our systems while developing, we do not use back testing. It is simply like fooling our buyers. We are simple god fearing people, and we do not intend to do that. Hope you understand.

Exactly. Strategy EAs automate daily work a lot in the hands of a skilled trader, who knows how to use them. Being able to modify them gives total freedom. Take away the "skilled trader" factor and nothing works.

Zero profit on backtesting is just fine. Backtesting is just for making sure the EA works according to rules. The profit comes when using ones mind. Even Buy limit orders or trailing SL (same as simple EAs) works fine when used correctly. Great timesavers.

You guys can program the One hour traling SL in 5 minutes. Entry not needed, just exit. Don't know it exists yet. And also the horisontal Break-pullback-continuation entry found in forum. Exit not needed, just entry. No need for backtesting such things.

I could not agree with you more. That's the very reason why we decided to create automated EAs for the strategies that are given in the forex-strategies-revealed.com website. All these strategies are well discussed in public, and everybody knows the full positives and negatives of a strategy. Automation is just a time saver. We specifically decided to go this route, because we do not want to create another 'secret strategy' EA, like zillions of other robots in the market place.
