That happens. I presume it was The US Unemployment Rate release.

Did you plan to close all trades before release?

GBPJPY chart is interesting because as it happened we could have made multiple entries at that support line (+/- 5 pips), and made profit most times using low of last hour as trailing SL.

Honestly, i never pay attention to economic news etc...i don't know if that is the right thing to do or not??? i work off the charts and trade what the chart is telling me.

Very nice work simpleforex, I am amazed how you find all those setups and the time to do it. I am trend follower in the last 4 months and I am glad I bumped in to this forum. I just keep learning and adding more knowledge to my library.
Since I was using this strategy, I started making steady profit” still trading practice account for the last 2yrs. At least with this strategy I know where the trade is heading to and what could happen. the tools are all here, but discipline and greed are the problems.

this was the chart of the eurusd trade setup i posted last week...how did it turn out??? lets see.

and as the trade turned out, here is its chart. i decided to close the trade with 173pips profit today.i don't know why i wanted to close it, it has more potential to move downward, i think, but just spontaneous decision to close it for no apparent reason.

I'm off for today...this is my practice: i spend 1-2hrs each day analyzing trade opportunities and manage my previous trades and if there are setups, i put my pending orders and thats it.... im gone for the day. i will check tomorrow how my trades have progressed, do the same thing and Im off for the day. stress free trading? maybe...
