toinou, there are lots of traders using this strategy on 5,15,30,1h,4h,etc... that's why there are respect of the trend line in every time frame.
About stop loss, I have learned the hard way when I made a ton of profit, went to bed and woke up next day wiped out lol. thankfully, it was a demo account. I blew up many of them. it is good to learn while you are in training than learning in your live account.
since you are using EA, then you are playing smart. Stop loss is good in case power outrageous or internet interruptions etc.... anything is possible.
About how good I am or someone else, I don't consider myself good yet, but i am hanging in there trying to be disciplined. I am not in hurry, but I am almost there.

I wish I can make an EA for the previous candle high or low as stop loss. this methode only works well in trending market and not in ranging market. check it out.

Good luck

happy trading

Ramirez, I really don't have that currency with my broker, but it looks valid. You can see the Pin bar candle respecting the trendline for the firth time and the pin bar reversal touching the trend line and pulling back tells you it is a valid and strong one. But you have to keep your eyes on it and move your stop loss to break even. great!

Hi,

what do you think about this breakout? Is is worth risking a trade, and if yes, when is (was)the best entry point. Is it already too late?
How about taking a trade close to the weekend?

Greetings Ramirez

Hi Guys and Gals,

These trendline entry variations Im going to show are not the "textbook" examples as far as the rules of the TL strategy are concerned (in terms of drawing trendlines) but it does pay to know them and also have the ability to spot them. Some very good trades setups occur on these.

Here they are...

@simpleforex, thank you for your helpful answer

What do you think about this pair? I'm a bit irrated about the yellow trendline? Actually I would go short. Due to the fact that
the yellow trendline was already broken, I'm not sure how much I still have to consider it.
