I am new to this thread..... hope i am welcome here....

I recently trying out different strategies... and finally came to this conclusion that ... with this trend line technique i can finally make money ....

while searching for material i came across this thread ... and thought that i can join u all.......

I am having some doubts....hope those can be clarified here ..............

attaching a trendline pic... there is change in slope in the trend line ......and they are continue to happen .... so .. i am not getting 3 points to make trend line ??? how to address this issue ????

that is reducing my no of entries......

Hi everybody,

It's a real pity that this thread seems dead. I have learned a lot reading it (and still am).

I would like to post a trade that went bad, so maybe we can do a post-mortem on it and learn from what happened. I had a SL, so I didn't get bruised too bad, still I'm very intrigued what I missed.
* Did I enter the order too soon? Should I have waited for confirmation of price touching the TL?
* Did I miss another indicator / TL on a different time frame?
* Maybe nothing was wrong?

Any comments would be really helpful. Yes, I'm a newbie.

Last but not least: thank you Edward for this fantastic website. It's such a terrific learning opportunity. Great job! I only wish I found it earlier...

I think u missed the top trendline which was guiding the price ..... should have waited till it got broken .....

Hi,

i m trading with trend line and s&r and i ve got some tools that could be usefull:

highlow pending is an expert that send a pending on the previous candle high and low with buffer, MM and everything. parameters are a bit wierd but risk at 0.6 is about 3%of your account balance.

pricealert is an indicator that draw trendlines that you have to place where you want and it give you alert when it get hit. only issue with this one is that it seems to not be working on every chart so if there is a programmer that can check this out, it would be great.
