Hi,

Thanks for starting this thread. I am new to Ichimoku [but not new to Forex], and I have to say it does look like it does an incredible job of pointing you in the right direction.

I use MT4 with 4 charts open in different timeframes - daily, 4h, 1hr and 15min. I have nothing on my charts apart from Ichi, standard candles and daily pivot points.

During my [admittedly very short] time of looking at Ichimoku charts, I THINK I have found that the Chikou Span is the most important pointer in terms of where price is heading next.

I have observed that if you get a Tenkan/Kijun cross which is confirmed by a Chikou Span cross [over price], then the positioning of the cloud doesn't seem to make that much difference to the outcome. And the higher timeframes don't appear to have much bearing on such a situation either.

Asher - I'd be VERY interested to hear your thoughts on this! And please bear in mind, I haven't backtested this, or traded it, and as I say, I am new to Ichi, so I MAY be missing something! Or I may be getting something COMPLETELY wrong!!

Cheers,
