yes. It's just a tool to detect divergences and thus gives me more confidence in entering a trade.

The AUD/USD touched the daily upward trendline and bounced back. May not be a good trade as there was a head and shoulders formation recently, which usually indicates change in the trend, but I still placed a buy stop order. We will see.

This is an example about the trendline breakout trading theory I posted yesterday. The GBP/USD broke the trendline. The Myronn buy stop order never activated, but my trendline breakout sell stop order did. It hit the TP with 85 pips nice profit. Both pending order was set yesterday.
