How much leverage suitable for trading?

Postby Moreno » Sat Jan 17, 2015 3:34 am

leverage from the broker is helpful for traders, but we need to be careful in choosing the leverage because leverage like a boomerang for our trading, if we are not careful in choosing leverage then we will be able to leverage that does not comply with our ability. For now I am more comfortable trading with leverage 1: 500 in fresforex? How much leverage that suits your trading?

learning to be completely free and have a mindset that does not fret or worry and is completely at ease with uncertainty is something that is not quickly implemented overnight after years of conditioning to think differently. The hardest battle traders have when trying to think and be at ease with uncertainty is that they have had a lifetime of conditioning teaching them to think the opposite.Professionals have learned that to be comfortable in the markets is to be comfortable with uncertainty. They don’t try to fight it or block it out. Instead, they live with it and think in probabilities.simply stop taking too much risk and follow the money management rules. here's my trading setup while trading with my Tickmill account, 2% risk per trade, due their high leverage 1:500, with 500 ECN account for 2% risk, I only risk 10 USD, means at 0.01 lot size my stop loss are 100 pips! that's truly stress free trading setup.

It doesn't matter which leverage you use, I opted for 1:1000 at Hotforex because I know sometimes I need to take full risk to get most from trend.

1:1000 is quite large and higher risk and it's for micro account, the maximum leverage for standard account normally 1:500, I opted 1:200 since I don't often trade quiet large.

I think 1:500 leverage is quite suitable and i trade with Forex Metal broker. So I do not trade not for so large leverage.

1:500 leverage is perfect for trading, it comes default opening account with any broker. I tried to switch the leverage to 1:200 and 1:100 at Hotforex but it yielded no positive changes so I restored it to default.

The beginners who learned very much at the demo they can use up to 1:1000 too , not just 1:500
but for who need more experience and more learning i think the best is 1:200 and don't forget to use follow good money management
