Floor Traders Essential Toolbox v.2010-02-08

http://www.regnskapsprogrammer.com/xp/FloorTradersEssentialToolbox.zip

This version will expire 2010-02-22. Don't worry. New versions will be available.

Purpose 1
When comparing Stategy testing reports from Metatrader
you run the basic numbers through Floor Traders Essential Toolbox
and get a number for how profitable the system is.

There are a lot of assumptions in Floor Traders Essential Toolbox,
but these assumptions will be constant. You can compare
different systems objectively.

Purpose 2
When doing manually testing you can in a similar way
put trade statistics into Floor Traders Essential Toolbox and get
a number for maximum level of return per month.

Purpose 3
When doing manually testing you can put trade statistics into
Floor Traders Essential Toolbox and get a sound estimate of
what risk level to use. Floor Traders Essential Toolbox
returns risk level for aggressive trading. I am pretty sure
you will not survive in the long run at higher risk level.
You may be more conservative.

When you use Floor Traders Essential Toolbox for finding risk level
you can either input trade statistics on page Trade statistics,
or you can input result for each trade. The latter method may
be most appropriate when you have to modify trade statistics
every day. When you create a table for result for each trade
put a checkmark into "Create trade statistics from table"

When Floor Traders Essential Toolbox is running, choose one of
the strategies, Alpha, Beta or Charlie. These names are
only meant for association with the strategies you explores. You
may at the same time compare 3 strategies.

Floor Traders Essential Toolbox gives a more accurate answer
to sound risk level in forex trading compared to rule:
- Use 2 or 3% as risk level

It is my hope that Floor Traders Essential Toolbox will return
the money management answers the average retail trader
needs to know.

The get-trade-rebates trend has become increasingly popular among broker partners – you allow them to earn on you (they earn from brokers’ rebates for every client [like you] which they send to a broker) and then they share back a portion of the rebate with you.

Only I think it’s fair, or are there any pitfalls?

http://bestforexea.com/2010/03/rocking-rebate/ talks about it. Importance of transaction costs refers another company for cashback/trade rebate. It seems good, so good the offer may not be permanent?

Lotsize Calculator

Postby Rom » Tue Sep 14, 2010 7:24 am

Nice Lotsize Calculator

Some few lines is about the usual stuff about the relation between stop loss and lotsize. There are thousands of line of codes about knowing what risk level to use - you don't have to know that. That makes this sotware one of a kind, no other calculator will tell you what risk level to use.
Auto money management in robots do that, however, it only works when you are using one robot only. When you are using two of them, and each one is doing auto money management, total risk is out of control and you are heading for a disaster. This calculator solves that problem.

Equal usable for manual traders. Turns newbies into MM pros overnight.
