Hi Everyone,
This is just somewhere for me to keep records as I'm testing a new theory, hence I don't think it smart to share a system that I'm just testing.
The trades that I do here are going to be from a live account, no point trading demo need a live test.
My style is I scalp all my entries and then manage the trade according to my system ie exit signal or pip quota has been reached.
I'm a big believer in spending at least 80% of my energy on Physchology and 20% on system.
Feel free to ask questions but just be present this is a test of an idea so won't be going into detail of the system.
I will be starting tomorrow live with stanard contracts as tonight was the last mini trades test and have made 83 pips on the eur/usd pair in the last hour so confidence is high.
I hope everyone will learn from this Journal as I know I will.

Just to let you know I have come down with a cold, the last member of the family to go down with it, darn it.

Ok beginning of a new week and feeling much better.

Will be starting tonight and the major concern at the moment is how aggressive to be with the compounding?

I think at the moment I will start off concervative and take it from there, will post snap shots of my trading record sheet and if I work it out post the excel on here as it is a good sheet.

Just thought to keep everyone up dated and will post later on tonight.

Here is my first nights trading results, will go over them tomorrow had a busy day and just wanted to get into action and a bit tired tonight, so just a couple of trades to get 10 pips for the night which ended up 13.5 for the night.

took me a little to get started tonight, after staring at the charts for awhile (felt like a decade but about 2 hours) decided to go for a walk and came back with my focus on executing the system and the results are as follows:

Could have stayed in longer as the indicators (trailing stop) was not touched at all, I think I was wanting to lock profit in and as a result missed out on another 70 pips by not following system to the letter. (another coaching call with my pyschology coach).

Happy with the way I'm reading the market tonight once I got back from the walk everything seemed clear, all negative self talk seemed to disappear and just concerntrated on entries going with the major trend and pulling the trigger.

Going to keep doing what I'm doing for the rest of the week but may increase contract size later in week in prep for next week.

P.S All trades are stanard lots (might as well make a living out of this, also trading standards makes me concentrate)

Even though it was a positive night, I clearly need to focus on executing the system to the letter as quite a few trades were against the trend, I allowed my mind to start thinking instead of just executing.
Could have made so much more.

Hi Everyone,

I didn't end up trading NFP on friday night as I was feeling a little flat after a busy week but will start again on Monday.

My goals for next week are as follows

Monday - 2 standard contracts with a target of 15 pips resulting in usd $300 - Margin required approximately - usd $441.36
Tuesday - 3 standard contracts with a target of 15 pips resulting in usd $450 - Margin required approximately - usd $662.04
Wednesday - 5 standard contracts with a target of 15 pips resulting in usd $750 - Margin required approximately - usd $1,103.40
Thursday - 6 standard contracts with a target of 15 pips resulting in usd $900 - Margin required approximately - usd $1,324.08
Friday - 7 standard contracts with a target of 15 pips resulting in usd $1,050 - Margin required approximately - usd $1,544.76

Giving me a total of 75 pips for the week netting $3,450.00 usd for the week.

Just putting it out there so I will hold myself to account for next weeks results.

P.S Purchased tickets to Thailand this weekend for my families year long holiday which will be supported by my trading.
